Things that you can do with food

hello readers,

it's the time of the month where after Feb 14th ,
your girl friends will be asking you,
"So so , what did he buy for you?"
"Where did you guys go?"
"Did he gave you flowerssss ?"
"How did you guys CELEBRATE?!"

hahah, that's right ! it's the month of love,
but have you ever wonder, folks,
where did Valentine day came from ?

There are various theories on the origin of Valentine's Day, but the most popular dates back to the time of the Roman Empire during the reign of Claudius II, 270 AD. Claudius didn't want men to marry during wartime because he believed single men made better soldiers. Bishop Valentine went against his wishes and performed secret wedding ceremonies. For this, Valentine was jailed and then executed by order of the Emperor on February 14. While in jail, he wrote a love note to the jailor's daughter signing it, "From your Valentine." Sound familiar?
mmmmmmm, interesting facts from (source)
well, if you're wondering how to celebrate this year's valentine's
try making a special dinner for him.
sounds like you've been there done that ?
well, you guys could try example one,
an interesting bowl of spaghetti and sausages!
why not make it even more interesting
by cutting the sausages into individual love shapes!

my last year's valentine was alright,
I'm very blessed to know that we could last till today,
and moving forward
last year was just a very simple fancy dinner with candlelight,
champagne and he bought me a flower from kenya.
haha, I bought him a bell&rose watch,
which i broke myself after 4-5 months of usage.

so, how's your valentine going to be like this year ? :)

and don't worry if you don't have a valentine or what so ever,
pamper yourself,
well, that's what i did for the years when i was single,
i used to go to spas myself, or buy something that i really
really really wanted a long time ago.
there's no harm in loving yourself more,
because who would love you,
if you can't appreciate and accept yourself.
