Pink N' Proper x Claire collaboration box

Are you SUMMER BODY READY yet?!!?!!
Not really for me though looking at my chubby figure (and still eating ice cream). BUT! I know that this box's got me covered.

I'm talking about Pink N' Proper x Claire Organics' Collaboration BOX! For those of you who don't know,

Founded in 2013, Pink N' Proper proud themselves as a local Malaysian brand that specialises in bringing in fashionable swimwear and beachwear. Their collection is chic, mixed with a dash of classiness along with a hint of elegance and sexiness. Making you look FASHIONABLE going to the beach! They have a pretty wide range of bikinis and monokinis! A lot of nice pattern ones that I like heheehe seriously check them out!
p.s They ship internationally too ;)

While on the other hand, Claire Organics is a all natural handcrafted skin & body care brand in Malaysia. Their products are specially formulated with natural remedies, packed with nourishing and healing skin benefits which is great for all skin types and sensitive skin and ALSO for babies and pregnant mommies. Fun fact is that they were created by the love of a mom to provide the best for her baby. The brand name Claire also came after her baby girl 'Norra Claire' which means 'clear and pure' in French which is exactly what the brand stands for.

Now that you've known a lil more about the brand, today I'll be showing you what they've collaborated in this AMAZING BOX!

At first my mom thought it was cake because of the cute lace packaging. ROFL MOM OMG
It was sooooo funny when she was all surprise and excited there was cake on the dining table at home, but turns out it's:

1.  Max Azria Cross Back Bikini Set in Black
2. Inflatable pink flamingo Drink Holder
3. Claire Sunscreen
4. Claire Luscious cocoa Lip balm and Lotion for dry skin
5. Claire Candy Soap in Rose Hip

The price of the box is only RM99, which is totally worth the money considering the fact that it's ORIGINAL PRICE is RM200 !!! This collaboration will only last for 4 months, and every month, the contents will change from both brands! How exciting, I can't wait to see what's next! But no worries, cause customers will be able to choose from 4 different swimwear designs every month as well. Awesome! The people from Pink N' Proper were kind enough to drop me a code for you guys, SO if you're thinking of getting a box, use my code "SUNDAESINS10" to get 10% OFF!

First, can we take some time to appreciate how awesome this bikini is?! My usual outfits are like my current bikinis in my wardrobe; Loud, patternful, and colorful. I needed something minimal (toned down) BUT I always wanted it to have a little something. I just can't see myself buying or getting a bikini which is just PLAIN... so THANK GOD FOR THIS ONE because it fits what I'm looking for! It's a plain bikini with a twist! OMG I love this bikini!!!!! The criss-cross thing makes this bikini absolutely to die for! And it's so smart that actually IF you don't like the cross-back thing (like tell me who doesn't) YOU CAN TAKE IT OUT! Just look at THIS PIC to get a better idea. ONE bikini, 3 different ways to wear it. Money well spent!

Next is this extremely adorable inflatable pink flamingo drink holder from Pink N' Proper. This one is SOOO CUTE, I always wanted the BIG ONE where you can chill and lay down on in the pool reading your book while you act all 'Datin', but I guess I'm starting small with this one first.
Which is currently sitting on my table desk holding my phone while I type away on the keyboard right now.

Here it's not carrying a coke, but it's carrying all Claire Organics product - a sunscreen, a lotion, and a bar of soap.
By the way, all of their things are HANDMADE with LOVE, and you know I'm a sucker for anything handmade.

These are definitely my fav, I can't decide which one I love more (sunscreen or the body balm) BUT what I absolutely adore is the medium and
the size, EXTREMELY good for traveling and which is what I NEED! I can put this in my bag and it won't make me feel like I'm carrying the whole Guardian store! The weight feels exactly like carrying AA batteries, which is great! I love how it's not in liquid form as well because it won't spill here and there in your bag when you're traveling. Three of these products smells very similar, it almost smells like a spa-like kindda scent! Which is extremely relaxing whenever I open them I imagine myself having a good massage.

Again thank you so much Pink N' Proper for dropping me this awesome box. Guys, remember if you wanna purchase it, go to www.PinkNProper.com , enter my code 'SUNDAESINS10' (pst, it's case sensitive so make sure it's ALL CAPS) and enjoy 10% off your next box!

Hope to see you guys in some fine rocking ass bikinis with smooth skin! ;)

Basics with #ChristyNgShoes / Review

Hello everyone!

A few weeks ago I've gotten the opportunity to try out some really gorgeous shoes from ChristyNg. For those of you who don't know, they're actually a pretty well-known brand home-grown from Malaysia which started just 6 years ago, some say they're the next Jimmy Choo of Malaysia?! All fully handmade and manufactured in Malaysia as well! For those of you who enjoy shopping at your finger tips, you can find their latest arrivals on their website ChristyNg.com BTW, they ship internationally, so for my non-Malaysian readers, fret not! OR if you'd prefer an 'on-ground testing how the products look and feel like (like me) you can head over to their Main Store at Jaya One. OR you could read my blog and I'll try to explain my experience after trying some of these shoes out.

Most of the shoes that I choose were basics, well because you know...

Over the years, I've been buying and buying printed clothing, patterned shoes, flamboyant hats, my hair was always in a different shade of color these days, and don't get me started with my lipsticks! (They go on a Brinjal Purple kindda day to Chili Red kindda night) Conclusion is that the outfits that I usually throw into my shopping cart is usually very LOUD, same goes to my shoes as well, I tend to lend more towards the funky edge. But I knew that needed to stop because I didn't wanna be a walking loudspeaker, I needed to tone down my look with some Back-to-Basics!
So these are some of my picks that I'd like to share with you!

1
-
Black - to - Basics
Daily kindda heels

ps. Do you like the name Black-to-Basics ??

Ayyyyyyyyy.... thought about it myself! lol

When it comes to basics, the first thing that comes to mind is the white top with the blue jeans. But all can only go right in place with these
Mayer Black heels which are extremely comfy not to mention easy to match with ANY outfit seriously. I'm a fan for heels with straps like these.
So basic but yet so chic! And especially when it comes in this suede material, it just makes it look so much more elegant!

2
-
Nude- so - Simple
Casual kindda heels
(yes I'm a very punny person lol)

Second one is another classic. Everyone needs a pair of nude heels in their life, mine just so happen to be called Petra Nude . Seriously extremely comfy I feel like I can run with these fine nude color babies! One thing I like about nude shoes is that they instantly give you a lift that doesn't look very obvious. The ones I have on come with platforms as well, but funny how I find that I walk easier when it comes to platform heels. Again one of the basics that goes well with literally anything, like this casual outfit for coffee or maybe out to see some soccer game (or maybe just watching that cutie playing soccer and waiting for him to come by lol)

4
-
Metallic Fanatic
Evening kindda heels

My Marissa Silver heels are so glammmmm I love them! I can see myself totally rocking these on office grounds! Who says office wears are boring, these shoes are really vibrate and bright metallic silver which the inner-funky me loves! After working hours, get ready to hit the dance floor with these bling bling subtle sparkles behind! And also the 3 straps really help provide maximum protection so you won't be losing your glass slippers like cinderella after midnight ;)

5
-
Gold Glam
Dinner kindda heels

I saved the best to last! I feel in love with them the first time I saw them on ChristyNg's instagram page. They're called the Chloe Gold heels and they look absolutely divine, even so when I got them and they were extra comfy. They are these glamorous gold basic heels which I think every girl should have! Thin straps elongates your legs, but thin gold straps gives an illusion of glowing silky skin on your long legs! And I'm extra lovin' the shorter heels that gives you a slight lift behind, it's a dream come true for your feet when it comes to long walks on rocky unstable roads. These shoes with lower heels are so charming to me I love it!

-

So that's all for now guys, I hope you enjoyed this review and hope you find it helpful on deciding your purchase with ChristyNg shoes.
They come out with new designs  all the time so be sure to always check out their website at http://www.christyng.com/
or #ChristyNgShoes to see what's other people wearing on instagram :)

And if that's not enough to excite you, There's also a "Design Your Own" Button on the website!!! Which means that you can pick your own COLOR, TEXTURE, PRINT, and SHAPE of your shoe! I think this is a really great idea when it comes to bride-maids shoes, or just for the people who like to customize their own one of a kind shoes!

Anyways, happy shoe-shopping! ;)

6 Things

It's important to really sit down and reflect each year. Recently I've finally got some time to really think through
what 2015 has given me. So thought I'd shared some of my lessons learnt with you guys and hopefully it inspires you :)
P/s I made a short video while me and my best friend was exploring this beautiful place in my hometown malacca,
Click on it and feel the mood! btw, floral kimono is sponsored by  DREAMSCAPE  (check them out too!)

1. Detox, Cleanse & Remove

...not only what you put in your body, but the people you surround yourself with. Even online, on facebook- Is this person constantly ranting about how bad his/her life is? Are you still 'spying' on your ex? Wait, do you have your ex's password and is constantly checking who is he talking online?? Don't do that... even if it was a 'clean breakup' (or not) clinging on this 'hope' that he is not doing as good as you are is totally UNHEALTHY. Detox the negativity, unfollow all of the instagram accounts and fb friends that make you feel like shit. Unsubscribe to constantly-popping-up-random-ass-e-newsletters that you don't even remember signing up for. Is this 'friend' constantly pulling you down? Is this person always using you just for his/her benefits? Have a good look at your circle because you are the 5 people you spend most of your time with. Which leads to my second point...

2. Managing Time

We all have our fair shares of procrastinating. Procrastination is the Thief of Time, so set your goals everyday, it's always good to set a What-do-you-see-yourself-in-5-years goals, but everyday, set aside time to just sit by yourself and be silent. Schedule yourself into your day. Target what do you want to finish today, write it down, write down what you're going to accomplish at the beginning of every workday (or before!), what are the steps you need to take to accomplish a certain task, GET A PLANNER! This is a practise that I've been doing for 6 years now and it really makes me feel like my time is well spent. Hey, we all know time is short, so spend every minute of it wisely!

3. Dress UP

I've been toning it down with dressing up in 2015 - a lot of the reasons were: Being too busy at work / Couldn't be bothered because 'it's just the mamak' situation / No hot guys around to impress also, dress for what?? / Just want to be comfortable,etc. Sigh... That wasn't 'me' before, and honestly dressing down (I mean just casually grabbing sweatpants with some random shirt going out) affects your mood a lot. For me, it made me felt less motivated to do work, less happy - more gloomy, very "cin-cai" - and I hated it. Apart from that I hated the fact when you put on something tight or something that you haven't wore for a long time and you ABSOLUTELY look HORRID in it because you don't fit it anymore. Oh my goodness, that feeling of not being able to buckle your jeans is so depressing, I never want to feel that again this year! Let's fill up our closet with beautiful clothes this year okay? Speaking of which, the beautiful blue floral kimono that you see me in is from DREAMSCAPE - A local online boutique which (in my opinion) very Zara-like. They're modern and chic, their style is simple, but minimalist in a way where it fits everyone, I've already gotten a few pieces from them before, like this grey knit top HERE, this ripped jeans HERE, all are some of my favourite pieces from them. I highly recommend you guys to check them out because after a few wash, the quality is still very good!! You guys can head onto their website  http://www.dreamscape.com.my to check them out :)

4. Explore different things at least once a week

Exploring something new could be a different cafe (yes we heard you, you cafe-hoppers), a new type of movie genre, a new hobby, a new kind of sport, or travel to somewhere foreign you've never seen before, breath a new air, watch a new tv series, cut a new hairstyle, try colored contact lenses for once if you haven't! Simple things, little things that sparks a "new" kindda feeling. Always feel a sort of refresh in your system, because life's too short doing the same routine over and over again. Doesn't mean that you have a 9-5 job so you need to be boring. What are those labels anyways?! So always do something to "refresh" your routine everyday.

5. Be a Friend to Yourself

Stop beating yourself up. Imagine the words that you say to yourself :"You're too fat / God you're so ugly / No one likes you / You're useless"
Would you say these kind of things to your friends or someone you love? If not why do it to yourself? Be a good friend to yourself, take some
time to properly listen to what you want and feel, because at the end of the day, no boyfriend or no best friend is gonna take care of you
24/7. You yourself know what you want, so stick by your own side at all times. and be nice

6. Remember the good

This one took quite a hard time to write because it's an unfortunate consequence of the human condition that our failures tend to stand out more prominently than our triumphs. Just to name a few lows from 2015, the top highlights were the fact that I found out I was manipulated for 2 and a half years, cheated and lied and used and then chucked aside, a huge part of me died during that process. my Macbook died, I lost my iphone which was hella depressing, my car died, and all these happened in a month! Great! Hella great. but at the same time I did survived it anyways, if not I won't be here tying on the keyboards of my new iMac, thinking about how a wrong situation could lead you to know what is the right path. Of me finally learning how to be picky with who I invest my time in, because wasted time is worse than wasted money. No doubt that I did had to learn things the hard way, and in many desperate hours I blame myself for not being able to see clearer or understand it faster. All I know is that this year, I want to make things better, for myself, and for the people I care about. As cliche as it sounds, count your blessings.
Someone else is praying for the blessings you take for granted.

There, I'm finally done with writing the thoughts in my head. Finally (after 20 days) I feel like I can close the chapter of 2k15, and begin a new one. Cheers to a better year folks! Don't wish for it but work to make it happen! :)

SUNSET PICNIC

top : ENDLESS ROSE / pattern kimono : similar here / white shorts : similar here / boots : Dr Martens / black hat : similar here

Can't believe it's the end of April already, time just flies by so fast for me this month, although this month wasn't so much of an up, not so much of the cheerful happy person I would like to be, but quite some things made me frown, or even bawl my eyes over... One of which is the "passing" of my 5 years old Macbook Pro... who has been with me since day 1 of college, who carried all my silly, crazy, and one of the best memories I had – college. Those terrible webcam videos of me and my friends singing while we never fail to introduce our names at the start of each homemade webcam video (lol, like who were we thinking to show this to anyways?) Those were the random days my girlfriends would come over my place after class and we would just jam our beats. Not to forget making our very epic Happy Birthday song for our other close friend who just got to London at that time... Ah memories... and also learning the things I first thought impossible with that laptop, which what makes my career now, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, designing a website, making books, designing practically ANYTHING, filming videos, editing them... Man not to mention the many videos that I have not publish out there before yet. Gone... All gone just like that... I loved it so much it helped me so much in so many ways I never even dropped it once. I'm a bit of a sentimental person, and maybe writing sentences expressing my lost is a lil exaggerating, maybe even bawling over it the night it died and cutting my hair just like a break up seems a lil pathetic over just a laptop... but you see, it wasn't Just a Laptop. It was my first one. You see... Again, I must stress my life isn't all glam, I don't come from a wealthy family, so getting a 5k+ laptop at that time was a huge deal for me, and I understand a lil strain for my mom and grandpa who bought it for me as well, I didn't buy it myself of course, I just finished SPM where do you suppose I get the money from? Well... I know there might be a way to repair it but I have heard too many friends telling me their experience and conclusion was that repairing it isn't gonna help much.. it's more better to get a new one... Sigh... There goes my hard-earn money now... It's gonna cost me so much and I'm wondering how am I gonna get that money man... Am I the only one being too over reacting over the lost of her first laptop? I can't even sleep at night, and during the day I would wake up at 7am, just like how I would every time I face a break up, or a very sad event in life. Feels like a hallow in my heart... How am I gonna do my work now... Hmm... That's why I wanna say right now guys, I'm stuck and as much as I wanna update more of my blog, this problem I'm facing now is really right in the way... I hope you guys can give me some time to get my feet up again... At the mean time don't worry, you can always follow my Facebook page or Instagram, I will update there more often since I can't blog as much as I want to now.

But like what my friend adviced, "There's always a rainbow after a huge storm..."
Just trynna keep a positive mind, I hope I find a way to get a new one soon...
But for now, here's my OOTD post which I don't know when would be my next. lol

A picnic was the first thought I had when I matched this outfit combination. Don't you think checkered patterns usually relate to picnic tables? Haha, really in love with this top from Endless Rose, it's unique cut out with lace details on the front really is an eye catcher (and also really cooling when the wind hits in the middle part of the chest LOL) I often like to mix a twist of edge to the usual feminine clothes that I wear. I can never imagine myself being totally full-on feminine! So adding the black boots and the big black hat on this look definitely helped balance out the girly elements like the sky blue lace top with the soft flowy chiffon kimono. But if you guys ain't like me and think that this look is too heavy, try slipping on some dainty black sandals heels, you'll instantly look way more feminine that way :) I hope you guys liked this look, I'm totally looking forward for a
picnic right now! But most of all, I'm even more looking forward to get a new laptop / desktop soon... Looking forward to talk to you guys again soon.. WHY DOES THIS SEEM LIKE A GOODBYE POST?! lol.

Anyways, hit me up at my

to show some love and support hun! xx I'm gonna miss you.

pretty white lace

lace top : ENDLESS ROSE / pattern jeans : similar here / boots : DOC MARTENS

Hello my lovelies! MARCH is finally here! I've been pretty pretty busy for the month of February (argh that's the only month that I can't spell right! I needed to autocorrect that word lol) February (no help from autocorrect this time!:P) has passed by in a flash! Perks of having a short month is that your salary comes in fast, hahah! But cons of it is that it seems like time is ticking so fast with so many things on our hands! I've been busy at work, running errands, trying to stay away from social media to run some parts of my life (eventho that's pretty unachievable) LOL I still try to update my instagram a lot and still try to stay connected with the people I care about. But somehow February has been a month of really wild roller coaster rides. A few of my close friends might know what had happened, and a whole lot bunch don't because peeps, it's always important who you share your personal life with, cause that's the only thing you have which is truly yours right? Anyways, back in giving you an update of my month! Like I said, lots of things wasn't smooth-sailing but what's the fun in life when the oceans aren't rough to overcome to the other side right? Hehe, for now I'm sailing pretty smoothly, but I'm pretty sure a storm will be coming up sooner than you know it!

BY THE WAY, I'm trying real hard to find time to film my FEB FAVS video on my YOUTUBE CHANNEL! I've said it before in my JAN FAVS that well, quote, "If I were to have a new year resolution, that would be filming my monthly favourite every end of the month." HAHAHA, see! This is why I hate having new year resolutions! I suck at keeping them. We're already stepping into the 3rd month of the year! Still remember what's your new year resolutions? Are you keeping up with them or are you side-tracking a bit like I am? Well I know, NO excuses! I'll try to get it out reallll soon! (although I really don't know who watches these things I make for fun LOL) OKAY! Anways, OOTD time!

It was love at first sight when I saw this on ENDLESS ROSE! ohhhh my god, I craze for lace-y clothes, but really not ALL lace clothes are nice to be honest, some of them will make you look like a grandma and I hate it! Especially those dirty white / dusty pink kindda color, I don't know for me, on me, it just looks really wrong. I'm in love and very please with the cutting for this top. Seriously when I got it in the mail, I'm just sooo glad it fit me sooo well. I got mine in S size if you were wondering. Endless Rose has always been a LA brand that I am in love with !! Their clothes really do make you feel adorable, confident and unique! Because all of their designs are one of a kind. Guess what? This shirt even has a matching skirt! And guess what, this shirt would look so cute on dates!! Absolutely adorable, showing a lil (not too much) of skin and would still look classy and feminine. I really think that the lace empire brings out the femininity in a women, and since I think I'm at the age of maturing to a grown up, lace is one of the must-haves in my closet. However, again I must stress that my style is a mixture of both - femininity and edginess, it has always been like that and I hope it will always stay the same way! I've own a lottttt (like countless) of white tops and I'll never get bored of them, and right now, this one is probably my current fav! Do you have your own pretty white lace top that you adore? :)

xx, signing off!

Valentino

coat: ZARA / silk top: similar here / shoes: FOREVER21 / mesh skirt: similar here

Sorry to disappoint that nothing here is Valentino, lol. Somehow that's what I thought of naming this look- also because it looks romantic.
Okay one thing I think is my weakness as well is that I am hands-down a sucker for romance, I've noticed it a lot recently... This is bad.
I mean I'm not sure if it's because of Valentine's month, this whole love thing is just making me nuts almost. It's not that I have someone
to love, it's just that I grew sensitive and tight with my emotions this month... Guess that's always something that I've neglected and
pushed aside for far too long now, and since that I've reconnected with this lost box, I've found a reason why I kept it safe in the first
place... Love is tough, and confusing at times, of course the feeling of cloud nine is absolutely to die for, but you know what they say
the higher you fly, the greater you fall... IDK, I guess the reason why I'm talking about love now it's also because I'm crying my eyeballs
out listening to KODALINE - HIGH HOPES. I never watched the MV before, and I watched it just now, and I'm just flowing with tears...
lol. I guess it just got me thinking about the feeling of love again, of how you first met that special someone, and then laughing at your
own inside jokes, and how you first shared a kiss together, that feeling of how his hands feel in yours... sigh... sure it's sucky to think
that you're back being alone again, haha. I'm really sorry for turning the mood this gloomy guys, I normally am not like that, LOL
Blame it on the song...

I guess I'm better at talking about OOTDS sometimes... lol

I always think that lace, silk, and mesh clothing always give a seductive vibe. It would be wrong if I didn't finish this look with
my red lips and grey contacts. I love how the back has lace details as well. Always had a difficulty styling lace + satin materials,
they always have a slouchy pajamas kindda feel to it, that's why I paired it with a more formal looking mesh mini skirt, and I also
added on some heels so this look won't be looking too flat(s) (see what I did there, hahahaah).

and hello everyone!  If you're celebrating, Happy Chinese New Year! the past me is writing this blog post now in advance,
because the future me or the "current" me is probably having a reunion dinner with the fam spending some quality time together.
I'm so not looking forward to the jam... a 2 hours drive back to my hometown could easily turn to a 5 hours drive :(
Oh well, wish me luck tomorrow folks! For those on the road, drive safe!! AND GONG HEY FATT CHOY! :)
