First post of 2014

inner top: TOPSHOP / bag & otterwear : vintage / shoes : cotton on / skorts : CLOTHES for CHICS

Hello guys!! how's the first second day of New years doing for you guys?
I hope everyone enjoyed their new years eve countdown last 2 nights ago.
I saw the fireworks from London (from the TV of course) and it was massive.
Didn't get to see the fireworks this year, and I'm kinda bumped about it cause I got stuck lining up outside a club =__=
Haha, but anyways my night was shared with the dearest people and we danced all night long to celebrate the dawn of a new year.

My first day of 2014 was delightfully spent watching the adventures of Walter Mitty which was extremely well art-directed in my opinion,
and it was spent getting to know someone highly inspiring.
Cheers to more new inspiring people to come into my life and hopefully one day I get to inspire someone :)
It's the second day of the New year today and being excited I thought to myself on the way down from my condo's lift,
How great it is to have this feeling everyday - excitement.
Excited to seek what's out there, excited for life, excited for work, excited for joy; everyday should be the first day of New Year.
Exciting.
Uncertain of what the whole year holds, closing a chapter and opening a new, discovering yourself and the people around you.
I should have this feeling everyday. I don't have any new years resolutions, but I guess this might just be my first!

And speaking of first.....

My first sponsor for the year of 2014 is from Clothes for Chics
The sponsored me this pretty vibrant blue zara inspired skort that I absolutely love.. it's not a skirt, it's not a short, it's a skort! hah.
Previously they sponsored me this awesome transparent boots, and now I wanna thank you so much again for sponsoring me this lovely skort!
It's a really nice quality as it's a bit thick but it feels like felt, and on top of that there's a silky lining so you feel like you're wearing silk. haha.

Chinese New years is coming so soon! like in 20+ days?!
And I got my eyes on this red dress here and here . it's so decent and presentable for family gatherings like CNY.
Do you guys still buy new outfits for Chinese New year? I still remember those younger days when I absolutely HAVE to buy new clothes.
Now it's like, haiyah, i'll wear anything red. haha

happy chinese new year in advance! :P
